NORWALK, Conn. – We here at NancyOnNorwalk have been proud to say that we don’t do clickbait.
Well, we’re amending that. Starting this week we’re going to say, “We don’t do clickbait unless we announce that it’s F-ing Clickbait!”
Every Sunday we’re going to post something fun, be it a cat photo or – drumroll, please – a photo caption contest. Chapman Hyperlocal Media Inc. Board Chairman John Levin has been dying to do that for months. Let’s give it a whirl.
Call it community engagement. You all have fun now, you hear?
News tends to slow down around the holidays, so coming to you this week is the “12 Days of F-ing Clickbait,” conveniently timed to allow me to invade my son’s apartment in Brooklyn for the holidays. I expect to be there for a few days…. And so will that cat you see above!
Speaking of which, do you have any holiday stories to share? Remembrances? It’s a great time to share opinions, just email [email protected]
So, anyway, here’s your first NoN clickbait! (You clicked, right?)
Our first cat photo is my beloved cat Allegra, who thought she owned the late Mark Chapman and is now settling for owning me. This is a gift from Norwalk – I got up and there was this photo waiting for me, a pretty cat enjoying the sun on a rug that someone gave me.
12 days of clickbait starts Wednesday!
