NORWALK, Conn. — Norwalk’s water emergency has ended, Mayor Harry Rilling announced Tuesday.

“Due to recent rain and snow storms, we have reached out to the First District Water Company and South Norwalk Electric and Water companies and found that they are now at, or close to, capacity,” a press release said. “The Mayor thanks Norwalk citizens for their cooperation in conserving water during this time.  He urges common sense in our use of this precious natural resource as we enter the warm weather.”
