Bridgeport, CT – Last night, Jim Himes earned the Democratic endorsement to seek re-election to represent Connecticut’s 4th Congressional District at this year’s 2018 Democratic 4th Congressional District Convention.
“I am extremely grateful to have earned this nomination to seek a sixth term in Congress to represent my home 4th District in Connecticut,” said Himes. “Now more than ever, we need experienced and independent leaders in Congress who are willing to stand up for the people of the United States. This year’s 4th Congressional District Convention was held at Cesar Batalla School in Bridgeport, CT and was attended by over 150 delegates from all 17 towns in the district.
Himes will appear on the ballot as the official Democratic nominee for the U.S. House of Representatives in this year’s general election on Tuesday, November 6, 2018.
