Shout Out to Fairfield County Community Foundation / Center for Nonprofit Excellence for hosting two upcoming Data learning opportunities:

  2. Finding Data for Grants – an interactive conversation with Mark Abraham, Executive Director of DataHaven, November 8 at 12 p.m. – 2 p.m. http://fccfoundation.org/event/finding-data-for-grants/

Shout Out to St. Paul’s on the Green for The Social Justice and Outreach Commission, whose mission is to create awareness on social justice issues. A major partnership St. Paul’s has is with the Norwalk International Academy at Brien McMahon High School that serves the needs of incoming refugee students and many of them have been witnesses to or have been the victims of incredible violence. St. Paul’s members serve as tutors and companions as students learn English and develop math skills. Volunteers need not speak Spanish; nor do they need to have a formal teaching background.

For more information about this partnership or other aspects of St. Paul’s Social Justice and Outreach Team, email Bob Giolitto – [email protected]
