NORWALK, Conn. — Showers gave way to a sunny Saturday afternoon at the SoNo Arts Festival, which drew thousands of people to Main and Washington Streets.  Festivalgoers saw art and partook of food vendors, live music, and children’s activities.

For the first time this year, ArtsFest includes a booth featuring art and photojournalism by the people behind Norwalk’s only non-profit news site.

You can still visit NancyOnNorwalk’s ArtsFest booth Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.  Pass a news tip, meet a board member, answer the Friday Question, and/or see the work of NoN photojournalists.  The booth is on North Main Street near Marshall Street.

Art on display includes favorite images from nearly six years of NancyOnNorwalk.  Photos are printed on high-quality archival paper and mounted courtesy of Photographic Solutions, 250 Westport Avenue.  Norwalk images make great gifts.  All proceeds from photo sales will support NancyOnNorwalk’s mission of local watchdog journalism in the public interest.

There is also an original painting or two by Nancy Chapman.

Admission is free and ArtsFest is rain or shine.  For more information about the festival, click here.

Thanks Rick. The photo with the bridge in its up position, and all the other photos that don’t have my name in the caption, are by Nancy. That includes the switching station.
