Church leader honored by Lavielle, RTC members

NORWALK, Conn. – The Rev. G. Frantz Desruisseaux was honored Saturday by state Rep. Gail Lavielle (R-143) and members of Norwalk’s Republican Town Committee at St. Joseph Parish in Norwalk.

Desruisseaux was recognized at the church’s annual summer festival for “his continued service and leadership to the Diocese of Bridgeport and the Greater Norwalk community, touching and blessing the lives of countless people through teachings and fellowship,” according to a press release from Lavielle’s office. The priest has given 28 years of service to his community.

Lavielle presented Desruisseaux with a citation introduced by the Norwalk delegation and signed by leaders of the Connecticut General Assembly.

    Photo Op for the Republicans how many of them attend mass regularly at that church? and for the record, how many of them have contributed to the church’s welfare?

    how many democrats can receive communion in the cathoilic chuch legally considering there position on abortion, and there attacks on christians around the country.
