Excellent!
Reading any of these would cause a multitude of additional health problems…
Ah. A glimmer of hope.
It’s a pity that the ER doesn’t offer patients something more intellectually challenging and less ideologically bankrupt. Like “Highlights”.
I could give them an endless supply of New Yorkers and National Georgraphics. I’d drop off new ones every few months. Someone please contact me at [email protected] to tell me how to do this.
Is there a problem with placing books available to read in a hospital waiting room ? Or do such books need pass an “approval” by City officials using their “judgments” about proper reading materials in a privately run hospital ? What’s happening to us ? Big Brother watching ?
I think a Little Free Library (https://littlefreelibrary.org/) would be great in the hospital ER – stocking children and adult books. I have some to donate. Also, adding to Harriet Flehinger’s idea, I have piles of The New Yorkers, The Atlantic, Bloomberg, and Conde Nast Traveler magazines to offer if the hospital accepts donations.
if you are unfortunate enough to be a patient, family member, or friend in the ER i dont think you care about the reading selection!
Im just as outraged as him…. There should be MORE of these books there! Just 7?? There is ALOT of good material out there akin to these amazing books !
Hey John, hope you’re OK.
Curious if the photog “staged” this picture and why he or she didn’t include the books that are hidden at the bottom of this photo? Honest question
