An almost-Norwalk photo

NORWALK, Conn. — Avid cyclist Paul Cantor took the above photo Sunday, on Marvin Ridge Bridge over the Merritt Parkway.

“The flowers change with the seasons. Someone deserves a big thank you for making the ride over the bridge extra special,” he wrote.

Cantor didn’t know whether the overpass is in Norwalk or New Canaan. Google Maps indicate that it’s just over the line, as Weed Avenue turns into Marvin Ridge Road.

It’s important to West Norwalk, he said, pointing out that the West Norwalk Association is encouraging residents to attend a New Canaan Police Commission meeting at 7 p.m. Wednesday, where there will be a discussion about the no-left-turn sign at the corner of Marvin Ridge and Nursery Road. “This is your chance to express your thoughts and concerns about this new traffic regulations and the impacts it has had on West Norwalk,” the email from WNA said.

Thanks Paul. How many small, but wonderful things are all around us that we never notice? More please! Take the time to enjoy the little things. They’ll add more enjoyment to the day.
