Assistance requested to I.D. convenience store burglary suspect

NORWALK, Conn. – The Norwalk Police Department is seeking the public’s help identifying a suspect in a convenience store burglary.

The suspect broke into R&G Grocery at the corner of Wall and Main streets at about 5:50 a.m. Jan. 2. The suspect forced entry by prying the lock off the front door. Once inside, the suspect targeted the cash register and cigarettes and left with a small amount of cash and an unknown number of cigarette packs.

Anyone able to identify the suspect in the photograph should contact Detective Justin Bisceglie at 203-854-3181 or [email protected]. Tips may also be left at the Norwalk Police Tip Line, 203-854-3111, and anonymous Internet tips can be sent to the Norwalk Police website.

Anonymous text tips can be submitted by typing “NPD” into the text field, followed by the message, and sending it to CRIMES (274637).
