NORWALK, Conn. – The Connecticut Business & Industry Association (CBIA) has endorsed Democrat Bob Duff for re-election to the state Senate, representing the 25th District.

“Bob Duff’s leadership skills and knowledge of the issues facing Connecticut companies will help him lead his colleagues in the legislature in advancing policies that will improve Connecticut’s economic competitiveness and create more opportunities for everyone in the state,” said CBIA Executive Vice President Joe Brennan in a press release.

Duff, who lives in Norwalk, is seeking reelection in the 25th District, which includes Norwalk and Darien. He is being challenged by Norwalk Republican Bill Dunne, a member of the city Planning Commission.

Bob Duff works hard for his constituents and has contributed to the well-being of the community. Let’s hope that if he assumes a leadership position in the state senate he will be able to influence his party to do right by Norwalk and to lower taxes and fix the state’s fiscal mess.
