HARTFORD, Conn. – Exempting baby diapers from Connecticut sales tax is a long overdue but necessary action, advocates told the Children’s Committee Tuesday.

The North Haven-based nonprofit works to increase access to and provide diapers to those who cannot otherwise afford them.
