HARTFORD, Conn. – Former U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s campaign announced Monday that the Democratic front-runner will campaign in the state on Thursday.
Arrangements for the visit haven’t been finalized, but her campaign said she plans to discuss “her plans to tackle gun violence in communities across America and to break down the barriers that hold too many families back.”
Ohio Gov. John Kasich will return to Connecticut Friday for a town hall event at Glastonbury High School.
With Connecticut playing an increasingly important role in the presidential primary, U.S Sens. Bernie Sanders and Ted Cruz have not announced plans to visit Connecticut before the April 26 primary.
