HARTFORD, Conn. – Department of Consumer Protection Commissioner William Rubenstein will retire in January, according to the Malloy administration. Additionally, Public Health Commissioner Dr. Jewel Mullen and Department of Energy and Environmental Protection Commissioner Robert Klee will stay on during Gov. Dannel P. Malloy’s second term.

Malloy thanked Rubenstein for his service Monday in a press release.

“Bill has used his extensive experience in the public and private sectors to protect consumers from unfair business practices and unsafe products while enforcing the federal and state laws that ensure a fair and regulated marketplace for all,” Malloy said.
