NORWALK, Conn. – District D voters have tough choices to make Tuesday.
“I think District D is a very exciting race this year, with all good people running,” Town Clerk Rick McQuaid said. “… D is definitely the race area this year.”
NancyOnNorwalk has previously provided videos of District D Board of Education candidates; now we have Common Council candidates from District D.
James Page (D), Tom Keegan (R), George Tsiranides (an incumbent and a Democrat) and Carl Dickens (R) sat in front of about 25 people Monday and answered questions in a League of Women Voters forum. Here is what they said:
First question: What do you see as the two top needs in your district? And how will you address them?
This video begins after James Page said he has been on the Board of Estimate and Taxation for four years:
Second question: How do your skills experience and prior work make you uniquely qualified for this position?
Third question: What would you do to encourage the City to acquire the White Barn property?
Fourth question: What specific steps would you take to slow down traffic?
