
NORWALK, Conn. – A Norwalk man was shot at Wednesday evening in Colonial Village, Norwalk Police say. The man, who has no history of trouble with police, escaped injury.
The man, who is in his 30s, said he heard four or five shots and turned around to see someone “not too far away” shooting at him, Vinett said.
Police received one phone call reporting shots on Suncrest Road at 8:11 p.m., Lt. Paul Vinett said. At first they thought there was nothing but then the mother of a the victim came forward.
The man has “no history, no nothing,” Vinett said.
Police used canine officers to track two suspects in the shooting, but were not successful, Vinett said.
