NORWALK, Conn. – It’s that time again – time for another NancyOnNorwalk Meet, Greet and Eat fundraiser!
Come on out from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Friday, April 4, to the East Side Café at 232 East Ave. and give your support to NancyOnNorwalk and its mission of shining a light on Norwalk’s government and public institutions to keep taxpayers informed about how their money is being spent.
Our first event in early February was a success, and we are hoping to match or exceed that on April 4 at the East Side Café. Drop by one of Norwalk’s favorite nocturnal gathering spots and enjoy complimentary hot food from the steam table and a cash bar while meeting with the NancyOnNorwalk team and fellow readers.
A free press isn’t free. It’s a fulltime job for 2 people and a part-time gig for a designer and technician, and your support is crucial to keep the lights (and the computers) on and the information flowing.
More people are turning to NancyOnNorwalk every month as their primary source of information about their local government. Come to the East Side Café on April 4 and help us help you get all the information you need to make informed decisions about who you want representing you in Norwalk and in Hartford.
