NancyOnNorwalk fundraiser on tap Feb. 5

Come to Fat Cat Pie Co. on Feb. 5 and meet the people behind NancyOnNorwalk.com.

We are hosting an all-you-can-eat pizza fundraiser for Norwalk’s government watchdog site at the popular Wall Street spot beginning at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 5. Suggested donation is $25.

There will be pizza, a cash bar and, well, us – Nancy, Eric and Mark Chapman.

NancyOnNorwalk survives through the generosity of its donors. Without donations, we would not be able to continue to shine a light on local government to keep you, the taxpayers and voters, aware of how your money is being spent and how your government officials are conducting your business. A free press is not free.

So join us at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 5, at Fat Cat Pie Co., 9-11 Wall St., for all-you-can-eat pizza and a chance to meet the people behind the news site, and help ensure we can continue to keep the lights on and the webservers running to bring you all your news of City Hall.

NoN is in the process of becoming a non-profit corporation, at which time donations may become tax deductible.

in the process of becoming a non-profit corporation ? I had the impression it has never had a profit. Making donations deductible sounds like an excellent idea. Are you planning on qualifying as educational ?
