NCC offers Aug. 16 open house for extended studies and workforce education programs

NORWALK, Conn. (August 2, 2017) – Registration is open for NCC’s Extended Studies and Workforce Education programs for this fall.  Staff will also be holding an open house on Wednesday, August 16 to share information about courses, meet staff and answer questions.

A wide array of non-credit career development and certificate courses (health care, public safety, computers, bookkeeping, legal secretary, real estate, and travel) is offered for fall 2017.  New certificate courses for the semester include Microsoft Technology Associate, Customer Service & Sales Certificate, Updated Non-profit Management, Personal Care Attendant, and Home Health Aide.  An interesting selection of personal enrichment classes is also available for adults.

The College for Kids enrichment courses and academic classes are interactive and engaging options for students entering grades 1-12.  Classes fill quickly and early registration is encouraged to guarantee a seat.

Individuals interested in meeting the staff, learning about and registering for a variety of non-credit Workforce Education, Certificate, Personal Enrichment, and College for Kids classes are invited to attend the Division’s Open House in the East Campus Atrium on Wednesday, August 16, 2017, from 3:00-6:00 p.m.
