NEON wants to warm hearts – literally

NORWALK, Conn. – The bitter cold weather has prompted South Norwalk’s anti-poverty agency to invite people in to enjoy the warmth.

NEON (Norwalk Economic Opportunity Now) is opening the doors of its administrative offices in both Norwalk and Stamford for use as warming centers for individuals and families who are in need of shelter during our region’s current bitter cold weather conditions, a press release said.

Office Locations and Hours of Operation:

  • NEON Norwalk, 98 South Main St., Norwalk, open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Saturday
  • NEON Stamford, 34 Woodland Ave., Stamford, Conn. (Formerly CTE), open 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Saturday
