Nighttime ramp closures planned in Norwalk

NORWALK, Conn. – The Connecticut Department of Transportation says the Route 7 south exit ramp to I-95 south in Norwalk will be closed from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday through Friday from April 21 through Friday May 2, weather permitting.

The closure is required to allow for installation of drainage improvements along and across the ramp. The work is part of a project to construct continuous auxiliary lanes, or speed change lanes, between Interchange 14 (Route 1) and Interchange 15 (Route 7) and improvements to Route 1 in Norwalk.

Traffic will be detoured onto the West Avenue (South Norwalk) exit and re-enter I-95 South at the West Avenue on-ramp.
