Norwalk man charged with criminal possession of firearm

NORWALK, Conn. – This is a press release, presented in the format in which it was sent:

 

On August 15, 2017, the Special Services Division executed a search and seizure warrant at 166 West Cedar Street, which is within the Colonial Village Housing Complex. This was part of a long-term investigation conducted by Officer Owen Lee into Terrence Voss. Acting on information that Voss was selling heroin out of the residence, Officer Lee secured a search and seizure warrant. Officers seized (23) bags of heroin, which later tested positive for the presence of Fentanyl. Officer also seized a loaded Hi Point 9mm handgun. Both the heroin and the handgun were accessible to two juveniles that lived in the home. Voss, who is a convicted felon, was held on a $50,000 cash bond. Due to the location of the drugs and gun the Department of Child and Families was notified of the incident.

Arrestee: Terrence Voss, 27 of 166 West Cedar Street Norwalk

Charges: Criminal Possession of Firearm, Criminal Possession of Ammunition, Possession of Narcotics, Possession of Narcotics with Intent to Sell, Possession of Narcotics within 1500’ Housing, (2) counts of Risk of Injury to a Minor.

Bond: $50,000
