His wife was a nurse with the Norwalk Public Health Department for a couple of years, and his daughter worked a couple of years in the tax collectors office.
Iannacone referred to his own service.
“I was proud to serve the city of Norwalk Fire Department for 31 years,” said Iannacone. “I was sworn in by Mayor Moccia when he was fire commissioner. I always wanted to be on the council and now I can serve with Mayor Moccia.”
