NORWALK, Conn. – The city has released its Memorial Day weekend schedule for city services and the annual memorial Day Parade.
Garbage and recycling collection services will follow the holiday schedule.
- Garbage normally picked up on Monday, May 26 (Memorial Day), will be picked up on Tuesday May 27. Tuesday routes will be picked up on Wednesday, May 28, and so on until Friday routes are picked up on Saturday, May 31.
- Recycling normally picked up Monday will be picked up Tuesday. Tuesday routes will be picked up Wednesday and so on until Friday routes are picked up Saturday, May 31.
- The Norwalk Transfer Station at 61 Crescent St. and the Yard Debris Site 15 South Smith St. will both be closed Monday and will reopen for regular business hours on Tuesday.

The annual Rowayton parade will be held at noon Sunday, May 25, leaving from the Community Center and proceeding to downtown Rowayton.
