BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – The Connecticut Democratic Party confirmed Tuesday that President Barack Obama will come back to Connecticut two days before the Nov. 4 election to stump for Gov. Dannel P. Malloy.

Obama cancelled a visit last week to Bridgeport Central High School to stay in Washington for a briefing on Ebola.

Asked Tuesday morning about the Obama visit, Malloy said they were waiting for a date to be finalized, but “the closer, the better.”

It should be illegal for a sitting president to spend taxpayer money and precious time to promote ANY candidate for an election. I guess this proves that Connecticut has become ground zero for Obama’s political policies

Odd that Malloy would not view Obama’s support as the kiss of death. Interesting comment on CT politics and this race.

I guess you forgot all the travel the Republican village idiot Bush did to support the Republican party during campaign season .

What makes you think I agree with any party doing it. I would also believe that you assume that I’m a republican. Ive been a registered democrat since i was old enough to vote but it’s long overdue for me to unaffiliate myself with the garbage that comes from both sides
