Shout Out to the Norwalk High School students honored this week at the annual Senior Awards Night, organized by the Guidance Department. Eighty two scholarships were given out to over 150 students totaling more than $290,000.
Congratulations to Grace Bradley, recipient of the Kevin M. Eidt Memorial $100,000 Scholarship, in recognition of outstanding achievement across the spectrum of academics, athletics, arts, and community and religious service. The 2017 Kevin M. Eidt Community Service $4,000 Scholarship was awarded to Ryan Williams, a senior who demonstrated commitment to community service. These scholarships were established in honor of Norwalk High School student Kevin Michael Eidt, who died from cardiac arrest during his freshman year at Boston College.
Shout Out to Norwalk ACTS’ Norwalk High School Intern Julietta Venuto, heading to College of Charleston this fall, who was awarded the Tracey School Mary Conlin Scholarship to further education and strong academic student involvement.
Shout Out to Stepping Stones Museum for Children, Norwalk Public Schools and the Early Childhood Office for working together to offer children going to kindergarten this fall without a preschool experience, an opportunity to attend Camp ELLI Summer Program at Fox Run Elementary School FREE of charge.
