Republican Fred Bondi seeking constable post

NORWALK, Conn. — Fred Bondi (R-At-Large), a long-time common councilman and 28-year public servant in Norwalk, running for re-election as constable on the Nov. 5 ballot. He is not running for re-election to the council.

“I have been a constable for the past 18 years and I was a city councilmen for over 20 years,” Bondi said  I am one of the few constables that work as a constable in Norwalk serving papers. I have the knowledge to perform the duties as a constable.”

Bondi lives in East Norwalk, where he has resided for the past 44 years. A widower with two children, Bondi was born and raised in Stamford, graduating from Stamford High in 1959.

He is retired from Colgate-Palmolive, where he was an account manager for 30 years.

    Its time for Freddy to retire. Actually it was time for Freddy to retire 20 years ago.
