Reserve today for Norwalk/Nagarote Sister City Project Fiesta

NORWALK, Conn. – The Norwalk/Nagarote Sister City Project’s 29th Anniversary Fiesta is set of Friday, May 8, at Oak Hills Restaurant on the Green, 165 Fillow St.

Reservations, which are required, are due by May 1. The cost is $80.

The event, to support the Sister City Project, includes a silent auction, buffet dinner, cash bar (first drink is free) and an update from Nagarote.

According to the project website, “The Norwalk/Nagarote Sister City Project is a partnership between Nagarote, Nicaragua, and the Greater Norwalk Area of Connecticut, focusing on sustainable community development and breaking the cycle of poverty for the most disadvantaged children and youth in Nagarote.”

Things get underway at 6:30 p.m.
