Shout Out to the Norwalk High School Girls Basketball Team for securing the No. 1 seed in the upcoming FCIAC tournament and for completing their season undefeated, 20-0, with their win over Ridgefield on Wednesday.
Having played on my high school basketball team that won the New York State championship – way back when – I know how much goes in to having a season like the one this team has had. It takes not only talent, but incredible dedication, intelligence, sacrifice, trust, and a total commitment from all on the team.
Congratulations to all the girls and to Coach Ricky Fuller for an incredible season and I know all of Norwalk will be pulling for you in the tournament. The FCIAC tournament begins on Saturday – Go BEARS!
