Support NoN: Celebrate summer, local journalism Sunday night at Estia

NORWALK Conn. – It’s almost Sunday. We hope you haven’t forgotten!

Tomorrow night – Sunday, July 26 – from 6 to 9 p.m., NancyOnNorwalk will be partying at Estia Greek Restaurant and Bar at 88 Washington Ave. in the heart of SoNo.

Celebrate summer! Celebrate NancyOnNorwalk! Celebrate the chance to vote the various bums out in the upcoming municipal elections (you can start with the primaries…).

Most important, let’s celebrate independent watchdog journalism. Someone has to be watching the dogs, and, if you look around, well – if not NancyOnNorwalk, then who?

If you believe that NoN provides an important source of information that voters and taxpayers need to know to make informed decisions about the people who are affecting your lives every day – because that is exactly what is happening, from the mayor to the Council to the Zoning Commission and the DPW, not to mention the Board of Education that has an impact on Norwalk for generations to come – then consider helping us keep the mission going.

We need your support. We wouldn’t just like your support – we absolutely need it to continue to do the work. If you have donated in the past, thank you, thank you, thank you! If you have not, please consider chipping in.

And if you want to party – complimentary food, camaraderie, a cash bar – come down to Estia Sunday evening!

Suggested donation is $25. If you can’t make it, you can go to the box on the right that says Help Us Keep the Lights On and follow the prompts. It’s quick and easy, and it isn’t PayPal. Or you can send a check to NancyOnNorwalk, P.O.Box 64, Norwalk, CT 06856.

NoN and Chapman Hyperlocal Media Inc. is a registered 501(c)(3) charity, and donations are tax deductible.

See you at Estia!
