    NORWALK, Conn. – A Norwalk elementary school has received national recognition for closing the achievement gap. Jefferson Science Magnet School is one of 48 schools that were chosen across 47 states, the U.S. Virgin Islands and Department of Defense Schools in Germany and Japan by the National Blue Ribbon Schools as exemplary gap closing schools.
